Failte! With this word the gaelic speaking Scots welcome their guests, and my wife and I were two of them in this summer. This is the beginning of a new series of pics about this journey and I hope you enjoy it. So "failte" to you! This was my first visit in Scotland and the first in the U.K., too, and this was for many years one of my deepest wishes. So I called one of my first pics taken in Scotland "Coming Home" This was my first look ever forward to the Scottish Highlands. Thanks for your interest, comments are walways welcome. Location: North of Glasgow, between Bearsden and Drymen. Taken at 5th August 2009

This is gorgeous and I have written a note to my self to visit your whole journey in case I don't get to it tonight, but I am in a traveling mood, so Scotland sounds like a wonderful place to go.. and you're doing all the driving so why not. I hope you are a good tour guide. :)
