Senet is a board game which was invented and played in ancient Egypt more than 5000 years ago. The rules of the game are unknown. Some scientists have tried to guess them, but the truth is that today no one knows exactly how the game was played. No one except Melissa, who seems 14 yo, but actually is 4769, because she was born in the city of Thinis during the Second Dynasty of Egypt. Her father was an alchemist, who was searching for the Immortality Elixir, and his daughter Meh Alish Hah has been his best success. Today, Professor Sommer acts as her father for burocratic reasons, and plays senet with her at evening. Melissa is the main character of my new stories, and she's inspired by "Child of All Ages" by P.J. Plauger, a GREAT novel that you should read. Dedicated to SwirlyWater.
