Description

Been by this old barn several times. It saddens me to think of all the labor & stuggles for a livlihood that just crumble over time. There arent many left who remember these days. Ways of bygone times like these should be inculcated into school programs. Each area has their own town's history; not involved in politics. These folks brought us into the world. They rarely get credited for what they had to go through to put a roof over our heads, food on the table & clothes on our backs. We are always taught who the mayors or gov't staples were...but who were we??

Such a moving capture! So expressive, where each one can recover his own memories of grandparents.....Touching and pure image! Well done!*****

I also think such thoughts when I see old barns and buildings abandoned and falling down. SUCH labor to build them. You couldn't just run to Home Depot and buy all that you needed...it was HARD work, which, unfortunately, seems to be in rather short supply for the most part in our world. Today buildings are almost thrown together...not made to endure time as these old buildings!
