Last posting the lighting favored the subject, Bishamonten, the Buddhist god of victory, wealth, and good fortune. More information and the full statue can be found in my gallery for anyone having an interest. Having always found the depiction of demons in the Asian culture very interesting, I thought a closer look at this symbol of evil was in order. Thanks for the comments and favs on my last post.

Oh, thank you! I was very interested in this fellow. Wonderful to see details that I couldn't make out before. He still looks very displeased. I think Bishamonten had better keep a firm foot on him. Looks amazing in zoom.
