Description

I thought me gallery needed some color, thus my choice of upload today. This is a Macaw and I have captured him/her at a bird sanctuary not far from my house last summer. He was sitting right next to me and I was actually a bit wary of that beak pecking at my camera lens!!! Thank you for your kind comments and favs on my upside down upload of Kayla yesterday! Ah...this is gorgeous. The red is so vivid and so full of life. I happen to like these critters, especially since the way in which they show affection is...well...lets just say...it's interesting and a bit...well...never mind. This is a great photo, and I love the intensity of it. The red is perfect and not overpowering as red can sometimes be. Great shot here!
