Future world - caress of steel.
I had no plans on posting here today...
But i'm down with the flu.. and it is so boring to stay in bed all day.. #:o)
So i allowed myself to play with some graphics..for a bit.
Inspiration for the image, comes from a song... by a danish rock band called "Pretty maids".
I know these guys well, and have listened to them for many years.
The song is their reflection over a possible, or impossible future world.
And i allowed myself to interpret their interpretation, of a future world.

I like the starkness, it creates an empty and unfeeling mood. all that calm blue surrounding a darling child but the emotion is not very loving. good work, Lars, this is a moving piece. I hope you feel better soon! hugs

the swine flu oink,oink,oink, i hope not-lol. me too lars i have irritating in the nose and in the garganta. i drank a bottle of medinait sirup (you are supposed to take only one spoon) but i took the whole bottle little by little ,was sweating all night,now a shower and up we go. i always do radical cure. wonderful image btw. get well soon brother we love you here in the community.

Oh I hope our world is not heading in this direction. What a cold and dreary place it would be. No time to go and listen to the song, but knowing you, your interpretation is right on the mark. Well done, the mood of the image is well captured .. the disenfranchised youth, physically cared for, emotionally abandoned.
