I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/ÂÂ

(((Michael)))..I've been away for so long, and was thrilled to be here when this post popped up. So glad to find you well, and savoring your favorite pasttimes! The guys look great, and the energy says that it was a blast of a time. I definitely need to catch up here, as time allows, and see what you've been up to. Wondering if all that you'd been working on, garb-wise, made it's debut yet..lol. Thanks for sharing this glimpse with us. Good times...good times. :)

Great costumes! Thing with drinking out of a horn is that you can't put it down until it's empty. So it encourages drinking a wee bit.

This is a great shot...too bad you're not in it! You'd fit right in, and that's a compliment. Great details, and I can't help but wonder at the anthropology behind the costumes. The details are so realistic, and they seem to follow a kind of cultural logic that I like. I saw garb like this in the Czech Republic...most of it was historical and worn by actors of course, but the costumes were traditional Czech...not quite so extravagant as these, but wow...the effect was the same, which just goes to show that these are great costumes. I'd love to see them in person! Great work on numerous levels here, and you hang with a cool crowd!
