Special thanks to Schonee for letting me play with her lovely new character called Naomi. Just had to create a sorceress with her!
As for why I haven't posted anything lately... well, Poser 8 decided to give me problems. I kept trying to render and kept getting error messages. I think it had something to do with my son hard booting my pc in the middle of a render. He was at my computer and did something to it.
In any case, since then I have had problems with Poser 8. I gave up after numerous renders (not just with this pic but with other pics) and I rendered this is Poser Pro. I finally removed Poser 8 today and I reinstalled it just to see if this would fix the problem. We'll see. :)
Here you see the lovely Naomi is using her crystal ball to weave a new 'reality' - a web of life and consequence. She is very powerful - on par with one of the fates - and she can change the future with a whim. Beware, for she is not one to be trifled with.
I used Photoshop to create a spider web effect to show her weaving her magic in the air. Actually, there is lots of postwork here. Hope you like it! :) Alas, I had to reduce the size of this to make it 'fit' the Rendo restrictions but it's still pretty big. So zoom for details.

P.S. Sorry I've gotten behind. I've had some internet issues too. When it rains, it pours. I couldn't open up the email links showing the postings. It kept taking forever to open. Anyway, I think I have this fixed now so I'll play catch up now. :)

After having so many problems with my copy of Poser 7, I know how you feel. I think my problem was dying hard drive, but hopefully that won't be a problem for a while. Great looking picture, and Schonee's doll is a real doll!

I was wondering what happened to you Lori and I'm so sorry for all the problems you've had. This image is amazing and Schonee has got to be blown away with the way you portrayed her beautiful Naomi character here. You know how to as the title says weave the fabric of reality yourself as it shows here. Glad to hear things are getting back to normal as I've missed you and your art.

this is a wonderful image! the sparkles and the smoke effects are fantastic and I love the webbing! she really is beautiful and the lighting is bold and powerful to show her off nicely. so sorry about the computer troubles, I hope things work out easily.

hasd boot in the middle of work sound like renecyberdoc before he was making graphics,having had nothing better to do i provoked crashes hehehe-pervert but i learnt a lot. tell you son that this is not healthy for the equipment hehehe, you did stunnig work and gave fantastic credit to naomi. i ve seen so many naomis recently and i guess schonee can be very proud of her first baby,and seeing everybody making gifts that is fantastic and well deserved.

Lori there are two things that constantly amaze me about your work. Your images are always beautiful, the detail you put into them is mind blowing incredible, and you turn images out very quickly. Did I say two things??? LOL Wonderfull work. I love the webs.
