Description
Hi all - there have been lots of 'Steampunk pics' posted lately and I wanted to do something in that realm but with a twist. Steampunk is a derivative of cyberpunk. Classic cyberpunk characters were marginalized, alienated loners who lived on the edge of society in generally dystopic futures where daily life was impacted by rapid technological change and invasive modification of the human body. With this in mind, Biopunk is a subgenre of Cyberpunk, and it deals with individuals who are modified and enhanced not with cyberware, but by genetic manipulation of their chromosomes.
Sooo, this lovely lady has enhanced herself with peacock dna and instead of hair she has feathers and elflike ears. But she still carries guns because in this realm things can get pretty dangerous and her peacock feathers are in demand.
Please zoom for details. Oh, I created this in Poser 8 (after I removed it and reinstalled it in my computer). So things seem to be working now. Yeah! (The tattoos were created in Photoshop.)

Oh, thanks for the explanation of the genres, great stuff. It is a great idea biopunk and you pulled it off here with characteristic pizaaz. Right away I wondered how the heck would you get a peacock mohawk? Love how you have textured the outfit to give a green irredescance like the feathers.
