My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Heck of a note to be looking at someone's backside almost the entire time on a trip... It does sound like you had a great time and I look forward to seeing more pictures of your trip!

LOL they were miles ahead of all of us Saturday. Great shot and so true LOL. It's ok though you got to love them!

LOL at Cheri--and what a great shot. I hope that's not my best side. I remember this part of town, those old buildings and homes, the trees, everything about it. The whole trip was just fantastic!!

Your pictures are a complete eye-opener for me! I have never been to Chicago, and my imaginary Chicago was very, very wrong! I dislike the Ontario climate, too close to the Great Lakes and all that humidity, and I imagined Chicago was much the same, but I also wrongly imagined an ugliness, from the car-manufacturing plants everywhere..... I have never been so pleased to be wrong! This shot is lovely.....

A nice shady sidewalk. We did a lot of walking while I was in Philadelphia after my Alaska trip and many sidewalks looked just like this one. I also lagged behind for the same reason you did. Nice capture!

This tells such a story! I should have been right there, behind, with you. Even in your photo I can see things I'd have to have got..like the shodows of those curly bits in the railings.

The good thing is you got to walk outside in the sun and the shade. I think the most we walked in June was maybe two blocks from the parking garage to the Sears Tower. Oh, and of course, seemingly miles around inside the Museum of Science and Industry. Since you've said you spent almost no time inside on this trip, sounds like art museums, etc. will have to wait for another time. But, hey..., lots of the year you'd be freezing outside so it sounds like you all put your empahsis on the right things...walking, talking, joking and eating:)

I know that feeling too when I go anywhere as I'm always stopping to look at things. A lovely leafy street.

This rocks! It's funny, but Marilyn actually walks faster than Corey and that takes some doing, but the funny thing is she does it while strolling!!!! But then, I walk pretty fast too. This is an impressive shot and I love the POV. Marilyn and Mark look so involved in their surroundings though they were probably talking about something NON-Chicago. They fit in so perfectly! Great composition here and I can feel the mood of it, which is a good thing. Great work!

Advertising someones backside, huh? Are you sure they'd want this! lol... This shot, aside from the backsides..., reminds me various films I've seen over time... Don't ask for title.. Just films! But then.. I'm British! Lol.... Rob
