Description
This was Sunday morning breakfast
Requires a food processor and a little time:
1 can chick peas - drain & reserve liquid
1/3 c. Tahini (sesame butter)
juice from 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1-2 cloves garlic
Place all in food processor, add a few tablespoons of the reserved liquid as needed. Blend until smooth. Garnish with a sprinkle of sumac or parsley leaves. Serve with warm pita bread.

A little late, but... You are absolutely right, his goes well together with Pita & Taboule ! There is only a small difference in our recipes, we also add some of the finest Olive oil, it's rich for sure - but very tasty ! thanks for sharing, BB
