Description
Captured 9/29/09, at around 8 AM on an overcast morning, within walking distance of my heavenly hovel.
A ZOOM will bring you fabulous untold rewards.
I often pass by bushes with the lovely regular garden variety of white and yellow blend of plumeria, but this is the first time I encountered this variety, with its red, white and yellow blend of colors. I didn't seek, but I found anyway. The bush was on a front lawn, with a minimum sneak factor, so I took my time taking fotos. Anyway, the plant didn't have many blooms on it, and it wasn't very well cared for, but I made the most of what was offered, followed by the obligatory postwork. Again, thank you, God, for inventing Photoshop.
Thankx for clicking on, and tallyho.

Beautiful a real treat for the eyes to start the day...my parents have many different Frangapani trees in their garden..my favourite is the blood red ones followed by the bright yellow then these and when you add the brilliant white to the bunch is very strikeing...though I don't enjoy the sap from the tree.. A very nice presentation of some stunning flowers..

These blossoms are lovely! I even see a spiderweb on one. Obligatory postwork? All images are splendid, Harry.

Wonderful mix of soft pastel colors on the white petals. My frangy still in a leaf stage, long way to go to bloom stage.

This a very pretty variety of the hundreds out there in different colors and fragrances. I have two varieties, including one I grew from seed which has not bloomed yet. Lovely collage.

In my great enjoyment of the flowers, I almost missed the leaves, which have wonderful patterns. My favorite is definitely #2, with its crowd of blossoms. I also love the beautifully lit leaf seen mostly from the underside. Love the leaves on #4!

Oh frangipani - lovely sweet aroma... I just love them!!! I battle to get them growing here in Johannesburg but my brother and his wife live just 1.5hrs away on the other side of a small mountain range and they flourish there!! I also only know the White & yellow and then the pink variety. That was the first that caught my eye - all three colors in one bloom! Great collage Harry!

What a lovely and interesting bloom! Never seen one like this before .. and yes, I don't know what I'd do without Photoshop. Its as needed as my car, my blow dryer and toothbrush. lol I know I'm silly.

I can't believe I've never seen these growing; of course, up here it's probably not exactly the right climate, but in all my So.Cal. years I never saw it either. Nice shots of these waxy lovelies; I love my photoshop too, but it would be even better with an aroma filter!

Stunningly gorgeous! We have none of these here.

They look decidedly tropical Harry. Very nicely captured. All your five offerings here are first rate...guess I'd settle for #3 if I had to make a choice...which I don't:-)

yep agree with Bill, they do look tropical and very nice in those threefold colors, a wonderful find and some very fine shots, Harry
