Description

A little perspective to try and give a sense of making the trek to the top. The elevation gain here from the last photo standing on the tier below is all of 25 meters. The top portion of the window from the post of Sept. 13th , “Window in the Wall”, can be seen mid photo. Directly below in the niche another show of Mother Nature, small dunes gathered up by the wind supporting some scrubby sagebrush in this desolate wilderness. Walking along the tier below on the edge of this mesa…well it felt like…no laughing now. It felt like a Star Wars movie and I was on the way to Jabba’s Palace. This tier followed from the window along the mesa’s edge ending in directly in front of the two Hoodoos. There is so much more enjoyed taking a trek like this. Example being, I had been standing where the shadow cast by the Hoodoo is, right in front of it, not minutes before. Yet I could not see before what I could see now from this vantage. How the Hoodoos color patterns match that of the mesa wall perfectly, and what colors! Thanks for coming along, and your kind support. :~)
