Thank you each one for your comments. Each time have to take new piece to the gallery to display get case of nerves that is similar to stage fright would imagine. With the support you show me...makes it much more comfortable and settle down. Much love and light to each of you. And Tenn Girl gonna be down your way for the first time in the fall (week of Oct 18) to do plein air painting and some more photo work. Close to Gatlinburg am sure your familiar with the area.

what I would do to have one of your paintings on my wall...You have a way of shaping with hues that makes your shapes glow from within. And you repeat the glow over & over, creating a landscape of many inner lights. You're also a natural colorist, you choose hues which are luminous in their own right, and you place them against hues that help set them off or harmonize with them, etc. You have elements of monet & renoir & cezanne (in their constant contrasts to create luminous vision), but also of some of the wonderful 20th C. masters. Yet above all, it's all 'you'. Your water has wonderful mixes of browns & greens (always alive); the rocks are as luminously blue as any water would be; and the trees are bursts of autumnal hues, as much light as leaves, etc. It's you to a tee, it's beautiful & filled with inner life. A beautiful vital watercolor, just right for this time of year. Always wonderful when you post, my friend. Always wonderful. Much light to you in everything you do! This is a real gift!
