Description
Here is another scoutship set in my Deep Space Exploration Group universe. I am currently finishing up work on three Deep Space Bases.
Observant Class Deep Space Scouts are the largest Human starships designed for general survey and short-term exploration missions. They are a common sight in Human explored space.
A number of specialized variants of the Observant Class have been produced: an unarmed ambulance ship with enhanced medical facilities, a patrol ship with increased armament, and a light tug capable of towing smaller starships and a variety of cargo modules.
While Observant Class vessels are capable of landing on planetary surfaces, they do carry a handful of shuttlecraft. They operate both alone and in small groups based on Deep Space Freighters or Deep Space Tugs.
