Description
Yet another ship in my family of starships designed more for their romantic, Star Trek feel than resemblance to any starships Humanity may actually end up building:
Courageous Class starships are the smallest and most common Deep Space Explorer type serving in the Deep Space Exploration Group. They serve on missions lasting one to three years.
Like all Deep Space Explorers, Courageous Class vessels have sizable garden bays and recreational facilities. They are too small to carry their own Deep Space Scouts, but they do have a modest shuttlecraft complement. They are not capable of landing on planetary surfaces.
Courageous Class Deep Space Explorers have proven themselves to be stalwart ships, capable of withstanding a wide variety of dangerous natural phenomena.
