Description

This guy has eluded me time and again. He lives on the Santa Ana River, about a mile inland. I swear I've seen him for the past two years and have tried and tried to get him. I think I did get a shot or two last year. The first time I rode the trail to the beach, there he was, just teasing me. I'm getting closer!!

Super capture of your elusive nemesis, Maz, but, old tires stacked up in the beautiful Santa Ana River? What is with all this garbage and detritus marring and poisoning the countryside? Anyway, I like the contrast created by the backlighting behind the waterfowl.

I think you'll catch him a lot closer once he realizes that resistance is futile. I like this a lot. Those colors are almost surreal and so sharp. I particularly like the composition...those tires are just perfect, and he looks so...well...elegant in that snooty sort of avian way that can only be managed with spindly legs and a beak. I love this. It's elegant and the composition is spot on. You have such a good eye for details like this.

You only caught up with him because his car sank!! Perhaps he's too tyred to fly off! They remind me of a hunch backed waiter in a silent movie. Super capture, well done.
