Thank you all for the incredible posts and sitemails. My birthday was amazing. This community is like no other in the world. Not only are the people on this site the most phenomenal artists, photographers,and writers, but you all have the most beautiful hearts and souls. When I was down you rallied around me and lifted me up. Now I have HAPPY tears. I don't remember the last time before this was that I had happy tears. You all made me feel so loved. I can't ever thank you all enough for what you have done. I love you all with all my heart.
Update: The lack of insurance is about to come to an end. I applied for Badger Care Plus the day this started. There was a lot of red tape to go through. The states of California ( where I was born) and Wisconsin (where I currently live) did not want to cooperate with each other. I was chasing around trying to get a certified copy of my birth certificate, also my employer has not paid taxes in for me at all this year, so I had to prove my employment status. It's been crazy. Finally I need to show that my son is still in school and a senior in high school. At that point they will tell me what my premiums will be and back date it to the month I applied. They will pay what is left out there and reimburse me for part of what I already paid. Then we can move forward, which ironically is the name of the insurance card. I thought it would have said Badger Care. By the way, I found this all out on my birthday. Like I said my birthday was amazing, between the news and the love and support.

I am truly amazed with the response of all of these people over the last few days. This all was was more than even conceived, I was hoping for maybe a dozen people to respond, and thus make this birthday a happy day, I had no idea that over fifty would post something in dedication, this was all more more than just phenomenal. I thank all of you who took up the torch, and either posted or commented or even both, for there was so much of that too! It was an incredible day! I had no idea that anyone could possibly cry sooo much because they were happy! The posts just kept coming, and she sat in her chair so diligently commenting on them all,...(even I missed a few, which will be made whole) until the wee hours of the morning. I waited until the end of it all to post my own, no picture, just words, for I couldn't hold a candle to everything that you all created just for her! There was no way I was going to interfere, nor obstruct this incredible outpouring of love and caring That you all so freely shared, it was so wonderful to see unfold! Cheri became like a child in a candy store, moving from here to there, awestruck by all before her, picking and choosing everything! it was all so heartwarming to watch! She was tired hours before she finally decided to call it a night, not wanting to miss a thing. I cannot thank you all enough,...nor ever repay the kindness you all have bestowed on her birthday. You all helped to make it a birthday that she will never forget, and cherish forever!! I am so indebted for that!! Dave
