Description

I am going through a very frustrating time with Acasia from DAZ It seems none of her textures will load properly. I have re-installed 2 times and still can get the textures to load. This image I retextured (Badly her outfit, but was wondering if anyone else has had any issues with this product. The renders I have seen Namely RGUS seems to be having no issues. I am using P6 but no specific version was listed on the requirements. When I check the matpose folder only Daz Studio texture show. Anyone know what is going on? I would like to actually finish this piece. Thanks in advance, rap...

I don't have the outfit yet (and the product page doesn't mention anything other than the .dsa files for DS), so I can't be sure, but one thing does come to mind: are there material collections instead of MAT poses in Poser? Does this outfit load with textures already applied? Even without the textures working the way they should, this looks pretty good so far.

Sorry, I don't have that product to be of any help. Perhaps contacting the vendor would be your best bet. Cool render so far, it looks really interesting!

You need to apply the textures by hand in vue if this persists I believe. I have the outfit and I use Poser 6 & 7... no issues have presented themselves for me. But I would go ask in the Vue forum here... Beautiful concept and even w/o textures it looks awesome to my eye! :) Hugs Ariana

Hey there - I have the outfit and loaded it into Poser 8. I did encounter some problems in relation to Poser 8 acting up; in retrospect maybe there was something going on with the MATs. But everything seemed to apply okay. (I'm referring to my Dragon Priestess pic.) I finally ended up having to reload the pic in Poser Pro but then I brought it back into Poser 8 to render it. By then I had changed the materials and it worked okay. Hmmmm. Well, I'm not sure what the problem may be but in any case you did a great job with it. Great dramatic action pose. Cool scifi setting. Nice lighting too.

I like your image, very nice looking character and setting. As for your problem, I'm not sure, but here's something to try... (this works for me, I use Poser 7 and Vue 7 Esprit) Setup and ave your character in Poser, then import the Poser save file into your Vue scene. A checkbox allows you to use existing Poser shader trees. So far I haven't had to use this feature, but it might be worth trying out for your problem. Hope this helped.

I do not have this product. I have run into the problem with view a few times however where can not find the mats. I tried the use the poser tree button trick that seaview mentions and it just crashes the program so I can not help you much. Someone mention putting the texture manually I would very much like to know how that is done. I think the render is good already though.

I rendered it in poser 7 and had no issues what so ever, don't know how to help you solve this problem. The image looks great, hope you get it figured out.

Thanks ladies and gents. I failed to mention I am on a Mac. I found the texture files in a Darkstarburning folder. When I opened them I found that the textures that weren't working were over 4000 px. When i edited them down to 4000 px they worked fine. For some reason Poser on a Mac can only handle texture files no bigger than 4000px by 4000px. For all of you vendors out there that want to avoid getting annoying e-mails in the middle of the night, you might want to keep that in mind. It rarely happens to me though, so rarely, that I had forgotten to check that first off. I'm glad there is a community to ask questions to though, it helped me work the problem. Note: I have a copy of Poser 7 and the textures loaded fin in P7 so poser must have fixed that Mac issue a couple of versions ago. I just don't use it because of some annoying problems 7 had with VUE 6INF. I DO appreciate everyone's help. And thanks again for taking the time to comment. rap...

Robert... sorry to hear you've been having problems. Hand on heart, you're the first person we know of that has had this issue :( In future please contact Daz, and we'll be more than happy to help you. Just to clarify... it was the MAC version you downloaded that didn't work?

Very nice work! I like the look of the lady, she seems unsure of something and this adds a bit of a mystery to image. I have the outfit and it works fine, unsure about Vue as I do not own it.
