Description
Constitution Class Deep Space Explorers are the primary large Human starship type serving in the Deep Space Exploration Group. While about the same size as the Intrepid Class, they are faster and more capable. Constitution class vessels serve on mid-range and long-range exploration missions lasting five to ten years in duration.
Constitution class ships carry one Deep Space Scout in addition to their generous shuttlecraft complement. They are not capable of landing on planetary surfaces.
Constitution class vessels have made some of the most significant scientific discoveries in recent Human star-faring history. They are currently the most requested starship class by prospective crew members.
