Description

this is history - the definitive model of my pawns. i know the background has a very sick colour, but this is because my very old drawing board suffered a lot of abuse over the years and i decided to buy a sheet to glue on it to get rid of the needle points made my my compasses and pushpins. i also lost the ink, paint and coffee stains - not much later i bought an oldfashioned drawing board again to stain and abuse and donated this one to an artist to be who was very happy to have it :-) someone once asked me why my pawns have such thin necks, well, how else can one distinguish my pawns from other ones?

This is a wonderful introductory image to an incredible body of pawn work. This must be the Asian branch since it reads right to left. ;) Of course, traveling into the past reads left to right, so that makes sense too. I'm looking forward to seeing what gets added to your portfolio in the future.

Well, as it is a computer pawn, it has no weight and can easily carry its head with a thin neck :-))) Wonderful drawing board with the new born pawn, which is most delightful and elegant. I love your Pawn.

There "HE" is!!:))carefully planned from the biginning...and growing along the canvas... till he left it,onto his "own" journey and alive!!!Each time you play with him he gains life! He seems to be your "heroe" and me:))I´m surely fan of both! This is fabulous koosie, very, very special...and you tell the story from the biginnig...from the heart!!:-O) And, of course!!your presentation is superb.

Cool concept. My drawing board is the same yucky colour. But as I inherited it from my dearly departed father-in-law, I would never part with it.

Cool drawing! I love looking down on the white pawn that sits on a drawing of his beginning. Very nice pawns, with Audrey Hepburn necks.
