Description

This image is based on the story of Resurrection Mary, a ghost who, in life, was abandoned by her fiance at a party -- jilted and humiliated. While walking home, she was struck by a carriage (in the historical version) or a car (in the modern version) and killed instantly. Now, she waits at the site of her death, hitching rides with unsuspecting strangers after dark, luring them to the cemetery to join her in death...or simply saying "thank you," getting out of the vehicle, and then vanishing into a tomb. ;-) Credits: Character: Ghost for V4/M4 (Nathalie & Subgraphick) Hair: Kirke Hair (3D Dream and Mairy) Background/Lighting: Hallowed Eve (DAZ 3D) Outfit: V4's Dress Up Chest by yours truly (available in my Free Stuff section) Textures: Velvet Baroque by macatalier (of Sew and Sew texture fame) This is one of the renders I did to test the .pz2 files in the freebie set. Render made in Poser 8. I usually use D3D's Perfect Skin python (Renderosity), but I didn't on this one because it altered the 'ghost' texture. :-) It's still a great plug in though! Hope you like this...it's my favorite of all the 'test' or 'promo' images I did for Dress Up. :-) Jan

Thanks, Bossie! :-) I wish I could take credit for the lighting but it came with the Hallowed Eve set, I believe. If it weren't for packaged lights, I would be in trouble. ;-) Crudelitas, thank you! I appreciate your comments -- and I'm glad you like the image! :-) And I'm glad you like the DressUp set, too. You're very welcome and I hope you can use it somehow. Hi, Roywing. :-) Thank you -- especially for the comment on the lighting. That's my weak point. ;-) Hi, Sigma. Thanks!!! :-) You know the story, too, shamstar? Pretty common, huh? I saw it on tv once...bet it'll show again soon since this is THE month! ;-) Thank you much for the comment. I appreciate all your comments. They are very encouraging! :-) Makes me want to get to work on another dress up set, right away! I will try to visit all your galleries soon, I promise. It's very kind of you all to take the time to look and comment, and I do appreciate it. Jan

Hi, You're from Brazil, right. :-) My Portugese isn't that good, but I can understand most of what you said. Thank you for the 'spectacular gothic lady with the splendid texture and the excellent lighting.' :-))) I really appeciate those comments. You probably read that the outfit (clothing) is free, right? So you can get it and use it if you like it. :-) I'm going to send you a friend request and get a Portugese to English dictionary!!! :-) Hugs, jan
