"I read the News today.....OH BOY.....!! Sounds like the old Beatles song from the "Sgt. Pepper" Album.....I don`t know what John Lennon read in the past, I read the "OBAN TIMES" of course, what else? Best moneymakers for the media are the bad news,it seems, so here: -A Mister Andi Robertson, editor of the magazine "Yachting Life", slamms Oban as "Third world tourist destination" - Uuhh, rough words; I liked Oban, nice little city, did I something wrong? -Near Glennfinnan they wait for accidents: "Accident waiting to happen" - Pooh! -And a bus was fallen into the river Awe near Taynuilt - 50 feet deep, and a volunteer (!) firefighter gave rescue to the driver.... The Oban Times still exists till today and is part of the Oban Times Group, a bundle of Newspapers that covers the Western Highlands, Argyll and Bute from Kintyre in the south to Lochalsh in the north and the Inner and Outer Hebrides. I took this pic because I cannot ignore my interest in architecture, from my own country and from strange countries like Scotland. Hope you enjoy this pic.
