I first discovered photography at the age of 8or 9 when i was given an old box brownie and after a couple of years I progressed to a Kodak folding camera I remember it took a size 127 film.
My father built me a dark room in the loft and I spent many hours learning about processing and printing my films, both black and white and colour. when marrige and family came along time for the processing side of photography had to take a back seat.  After 50 years working we retired to Chard in Somerset southwest England (we think it could be the best part of the world). About 3 years ago we got into digital photography , recently my son Ian who has a site on renderosity (iambrose) talked me into joining, I am so glad he did as it's so nice to read the comments and see how other people view your pictures.Â

A very special piece of the working world. I cannot see something like this often in my life. It looks so simple, but it tells so much. Great catch!

You'd better run for your life if you can, little lobster. Hide deep down in the sand, little lobster. Catch you in one of these traps and it's the end, little lobster. (Variation of a Beatles song) Wonderful composition and detail! Good eye!

I reminds me of the old west picture of the millions of buffalo heads stacked up. Not as gruesome of course, but same tactic. Great photojournalism.
