Garuda is a divinity to Hinduism. Gods in what is called primitive cultures are animals. When the culture develops, the gods become a mixture of man and animal. In Egypt, they stayed with figures which are that way. In India, the gods became human and the old gods became their mount. In Catholicism, the animals survived only as symbols, for example for the holy script and for some saints, as for example saint Antonius with the pig. In Hinduism Garuda is the mount of Vishnu. Quite a terrifying being, but mine is sweet and beautiful. Maybe he can change his mood! According to Wikipedia he is worshipped to remove all poisoning things out of the body. Maybe that is why he wanted to be shaped by me, to remove all my poison. I am not only referring to physical poison, although that is quite present as result of all our pollutions, but also to psychical poisonings, which are also often abundant and my be well hidden.
