Description
The egrets that live along the Santa Ana River are far more cooperative than their elusive cousins, the herons. This guy just say and posed so nicely, and he was on something much nicer than those old tires!!
I didn't have internet for FIVE days--omg, was I ever jonesin!! I had way too many emails when I got back online today--if I don't comment on some of your uploads, that's my excuse!!

The gracious egret has no regret as it stands with its super skinny legs on what sure looks like the fossilized body of a corpse, stuck on a reef or something, M! Stellar water color and textures in the background.

Life without internet sucks like...oh never mind...I love this shot. Great light and I love that elegant avian pose. It's like he's looking at you, in that sideways bird-ish way, saying..."Look at my neck, isn't it beautiful?" But he's probably saying it with a Fabio-type voice/accent!
