Description

the southern door to the alps it's for today... Coming from the Gotthard or San Bernardino pass you have to pass this city going south to the Lago or further south to Italy. Driving by on the motorway doesn't make you curious, because you only pass the modern industrial parts and there almost everytime is a traffic jam...lol.. but Bellinzona is a beautiful town, as you can see in this first two shots, showing the town hall (right building on the left shot) from outside and inside. Bellinzona is famous for its three huge castles and the wall barring the whole valley build in the 15 century where it belonged to the dukes of Milan. I will show those in some other collages in the next days...smile
