My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Very impressive character! Nice candid portrait!

Wonderful portrait Tara! The slight softness does not at all take away from the fact that he is a rugged handsome guy!! Well done Dierbaar! :)

Nice portrait.

Excellent portrait. He has what is known as 'a thousand yard stare', as if he is somewhere else.

What a beautiful portrait Tara. He seems far away in his thoughts. :-)

Super, I love the treatment.

Very nice portrait! I love the softness and muted colors! His eyes have a faraway yet sharply focused look. That's an interesting combination.

Nice Job Greg looks taken by the photographer!

Excellent...softness and B&W really add to the quality of your portrait of Greg. The Trifecta Venatorius really gave you an opportunity to zero in on people...another area I haven't dabbled in very much at all.

I was chatting with Victor just before making this comment, and in seeing it, his voice popped into my head, declaring "this is enough good" as he often says of photographs that he likes, and so with that in mind. This is enough good. Now if only I could say it with that thick and bouncy accent he has! Anyway, enough of that. I love the reduced saturation here and the clarity...there's a nice glow as well, almost otherworldly, and that simply heightens the intensity of his focus. What's he looking at? I love it when pictures make me ask questions like that and this is an excellent "enough good" photograph.
