Description

I must admit, I didn't ONLY take photographs of doors while I was in Chicago! There were some pretty spectacular windows, too. As long as I'm confessing ... I'm not any kind of a shopper at all, and I had no idea what I was shooting. When I got home I had to look it up! Zoom ... I've left it really big this time. Check out what you can see through the window and what's reflected. There's ultra modern and old Chicago all in the same place. :)

So, you didn't go in for anything from Giorgio Armani, Manolo Blahnik, Fendi, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Jil Sander, Dries van Noten, Diane von Furstenberg, or Ermenegildo Zegna? Good, I wouldn't either:) This is one very cool photo. Knowing you love glass and reflections, this store building was made to order for you! Wonderful.

Just think, Tara, this facade has been waiting for you all these years. A fascinating image you've made!

The attractive elements that greet my eye are the hole in the roof leading out into the universe. And the modern squiguils reflected in all the left side windows, or are the interior decoration. One can easily say this photograph captured the entire outer world and a look into our heads. Nicely done even though you didn't know what you had done until you returned home.
