Description

Still a little intimidated to post images, definitely better at programming graphics rather than the practical/artistic application thereof but I'm trying. I don't think I would have posted if not for my manager, a female, who honestly and quite embarrassingly admitted an attraction to this? Despite that, another female friend said this looked like a Bratz doll. In any case I appreciated both comments, they were encouraging. So I decided to post a few for now. In each image I tried to do something I never did before. First time I tried adding makeup or messing with a base texture (slightly embarrassed to say) and I'm not sure I did that correctly. The lips were copied from another image in the package. I think I spent a whole night just messing with those. Not that I didn't like what was already there, just something I wanted to try to do. Sorry if this appears too dark or flat, I apparently have an aversion to bright, saturated pictures. Constructive criticism and/or suggestions will definitely be appreciated. Thanks for looking. Actually, this looks very depth-y to me, a real sense of 3d. One thing I've noticed about this medium is that bright and saturated seldom work. This is the world of shadows.

I think it's excellent and a marked step up from your first post. Textures are fine and you should never apolagize for experimenting or setting your own style. Having said that... ahem... I would suggest just a slight postwork sharpening of her eyes to give them the sparkle of life.
