Description

[best viewed full sized] (R for re-shoot) Hello my friends This pic was shot one week ago today at the Ingleton Waterfalls which is a series of falls on the twin rivers of the Doe and Twiss which split to travel down both sides of the small town of Ingleton, North Yorkshire. This particular shot is the middle section of Pecca Falls. A similar (blured and not very good) image is in the early part of my gallery from when I last visited this area about three years ago with a small compact camera. This newer version was shot in long exposure using a neutral density grad filter and polariser, and of course an essential tripod. Despite using a grad filer I have still blended two differently exposed images from the same RAW file and also slightly tweeked the colours and saturation a little. It has been too long since I was last here in Renderosity but I hope to be able to spend a lot more time here soon and maybe show a mini series of my shoot at Ingleton. Thanks for looking and any comments and critique are, as always, more than welcome and valued. Carl.

Another great long exposure water shot Carl... you have obviously mastered that very well indeed however.... oh here goes, Chrissy is going to be the only critique on here and probably get "boo'd off", but if I know you, you'd prefer the honest truth.... well, the rock on the left side that runs into the bottom corner is unusually distracting? I don't know why, but whenever I look at the photo (which is brilliant btw) my eye is constantly drawn to the lower left section and I think it's because the edge of the rock looks a little "sharp"?? I hope that makes sense but then again, it may just be my middle-aged eyes beginning to play up ;-) But nonetheless, this is still a fantastic shot - there is no taking that away from you and it still rates a 5 from me :-) Hugs xxx
