Nymphalidae Nymphalinae Nymphalini Vanessa cardui (Linnaeus, 1758) Painted Lady Nel giardino del mio vicino ci sono dei fiori che sembrano un richiamo per farfalle di ogni genere . Guardando se vedevo il Podalirius , mi sono accorto di una decina di farfalle che risultano poi essere del tipo VANESSA CARDUI. Non sto’ a spiegare gli scatti effettuati ! In my neighbor's garden there are flowers that look like a butterfly for each gender. Looking Podalirius if I saw, I noticed a dozen butterflies that turned out to be the type VANESSA Cardui. No wonder you have so many beautiful butterflies...you have Lantana. I have it in several spots in my yard and in the late spring it is covered in butterfly visitors. This is an incredibly well seen and well done face-to-face shot with this one. Fabulous detail in this macro.
