Description

This little sunbird took a well earned rest on a trellis outside my bedroom window. I was very fortunate to catch this sharp in the low light at the time. He is a Southern Double-collared Sunbird (Cinnyris chalybeus). Have a great weekend, Clive Oops: My bedroom is in Cape Town, South Africa. The sunbird uses its long curved beak to get nectar out of flowers, especially the trumpet variety of blooms.
