Description

A couple weeks ago I went to a festival and saw the "adopt a greyhound" area. I was amazed at how calm the dogs were with hundreds of people and events going on around them. I have been thinking about getting one every sense. Opens in full view :)

They make wonderful pets but be ready to get active. They do like to run. :-) I know several people who have adopted them from the greyhound program and they are very happy. Lovely shot.

We have a wonderful greyhound rescue program here too. The dogs are everywhere! We know what the young girl was asking them though....'Why the long faces'!!! hehehe.

they look like they were in heaven absorbing the attention of the little girl.they seem to have lot's of upkeep that I could not afford. I prefer adopting mutts

Oh yes, do it. I knew someone who adopted one and it made a wonderful pet. Beautiful dogs and a lovely shot as well. Look at their happy faces, they love the attention.

Greyhounds are beautiful dogs, they are sprinters, so are just as happy to laze on the couch as go for a walk. Great pic of these lovely dogs.

Grayhounds are wonderful, calm, and very settled dogs. I think if you would like a companion that moves when you want to move and is happy at rest or out playing then this would be the perfect dog for you.
