Description

Hello and failte! As I saw this little parish church and the very oldfashioned celtic crosses on the graves, I could not resist to take a pic.... Scotland has not so much inhabitants, and the most of them live in the central belt between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The other parts of the country are sparkled with mostly very small villages, and so are their churches. Small Churches like this may be common in the most parts of the country, and it must be one of hundreds in the same style. This church here is something special: It owns a very old bible in gaelic language. I will show it later. And Balquhidder is a very special place (to be continued) Thanks for your interest. Comments are welcome,of course. Thanks for your comments for my older pics and special thanks for those who took them as favorites. Till tomorrow morning..... bc

Great image but a reminder that those markers represent a loss for someone. Thanks for sharing it with all of us.

Beautiful! If this shot were mine, I would love to take out the sign to really make it seem timeless.

Bil, please take this as a comment on all your work. You have opened Scotland up for me with your beautifully crafted pictures, my only regret is that i dont have enough time to visit and comment on more of yours and other favourite photographers work, due to a heavy and erratic work load, i always think it seems rude not to reply more, but what can i do, retire early i suppose (if only)alanwilliams
