Description
The third and last one of my collages of Bellinzona, showing the sturdy Castel Grande, which lies in the middle of the town on a steep hill overviewing all of the valley. It is huge with three yards and two towers still standing. Up from the tower you can see all the other fortifications build in the 15 century which blocked the whole vally and fortified the entrance to the alps. Those old walls are really impressive albeit intimidating too.
