Description

in Ticino, another of my holiday shots. This valey is one of the most charming in Ticino. Steep sides with lots of wood build a valley where the river runs and sometime presents itself in this unique bluegreen color. Way up on the hills there are small old villages and if you drive up there on a dead end single track road, its seems time has stopped, cause nothing has changed up there. Me and my husband kept wondering, what people did live on in this small villages, cause there is nothing around but wood and up high you could only keep some goats. Beautiful! I feel as though I have sat on these very rocks, even knowing you live so far from here. It was a breathtaking place, and as I sat, I thought about the miners above here because of the funny color of the water. :D I'm posting the Independence Pass version for you.
