Description


Richard Minne, Ghent, Flanders, Belgium. This statue is to be seen in the square between St Nicholas Church and the belfry. (The bell in the background - Big Ben's Best Buddy - has been removed, unfortunately. You'll have to get all the way up to the belfry to see it from now on. Don't ask me why. Maybe it wanted to go home.)

That's quite a sculpture. It does represent prayer in a way that you don't usually see. Nice photo.

The photo is a bit over-exposed and the focus is soft. An interesting subject though.
