Description

This image was the first version of the image linked below, made in August 2008. At that time, I made several versions but I only posted the final one. Today I was browsing through my archive and thought that maybe the first version was not so bad after all. So, I brushed it up a bit now, rendered it and here it is. I was going to add more ground level details but I liked its simplicity as it is. I hope you enjoy.

Hey, this is a gorgeous landscape. I'll have to look at the other, final image too, but this is probably the more convincingly rendered landscape. This one looks perfectly realistic, while the thumbnail shows a verdant dreamland. ...so yes, they each stand independently, and I'm glad you dug this one out of the closet. Very well done composition.

"The road beckons ever onward." As a traveler, I'm familiar with that axiom. This is the only picture I've seen that captures that elusive saying. An awesome and inspiring piece of art. You did better than good on this one. Thank you for sharing this. It's awesome beyond reason.
