How intensely moving! This image rocks. This (among many) is one to be proud of, and I have been looking at it off and on today, trying to figure out what to say about it. I love the intensity of it, the relaxing mood that it carries as well. I always believed that black and white photography works so incredibly well in heightening emotion, and in this case, it does...especially in terms of what you wrote and quoted as well! This is incredible!

What an ominous title for such a fabulous Edgar Allan Poe setting, Carin, especially with the low hanging mist to add to the mood! The Angel of Death could be lurking behind any tree. Nice poem, also.
