Description

I shot this as we were waiting to board the boat back to Newport Beach. The water here is SO clear--I was about 15 feet up and used my zoom. The orange splashes are fish!!

Is it just me or is it odd that the expression Clear as A Bell can refer to vision when it was originally describing a sound that was crisp and clear? :-) Beautiful colors in this water. Beautiful color of the water.

Oooh. This rocks. Wonderful, eye-popping color! Great water texture as well. I love this and I wish I was there. We have orange fish in Chicago, but they're usually in fishbowls and they're never as big as these guys seem. Occasionally a few make it into the river but lord only knows how long they survive there! Anywho...this is a super photo! Into my favorites it goes!
