Prague. We had rented for the week a nice flat right behind the main square, far better than a hotel. Our first stroll in the evening of our arrival was to the square. The large church is really odd, it's main entrance is hidden by the houses in front, and you go in through an unconspicuous archway ...

Stare Mesto...one of my favorite parts of Prague...and it gets REALLY interesting at about 4am, when the tourists are all gone! Fantastic shot. This brings back memories and makes me feel homesick! I lived in Prague for nearly 2 years...while also jumping around to Cesky Krumlov, other Czech towns, and Dortmund, Germany. Did you get to go into Our Lady Before Tyn (the cathedral). Tycho Brahe is buried there, and if you go to the right (just before you cross the square completely) you'd pass a bookstore that used to be a place where Franz Kafka and Albert Einstein drank wine. I love Prague and this brings two glorious years right back to me. (There's also a wonderfully decadent nightclub behind the cathedral!)
