Description

On my own, I have been studying the Masters in Photography once again. I was inspired to try my Yellowstone pics in Black and White in the style of Ansel Adams. At least that was the plan... This one seemed like I might have come close without over-doing the contrast. What do you think? Thanks for visiting my previous upload: thumb_1964126.jpg Jodie Please visit my personal website...

Stellar B/W is what I think. Very well done and it holds a lot of interest with the composition. You really used your skills and knowledge well here.

Fantastic lighting and textural effects in this shot, and definitely surreal in a black and white format, Jodie! Ansel Adams, eat your heart out!

Yes, I agree. It looks wonderful especially in full view! You have the contrasts just perfect. Love the POV, it picks up the great texture in the grass and the rocks then the great dark trees against the sky! The clouds are soft, wispy and beautiful. I love it! Excellent job and a definite favorite.

It s a great looking shot I think you've got the B&W about right. Ansel Adams is the top man for landscapes, but remember he had a much tougher time getting the shots.
