Description

This was taken at the Payne Art Center. It's the gates to the Greek Garden. I turned it into a negative and then played with the colors and deepen it. Just a quick post, still feeling yucky and tired. I am hitting the hay early tonight. Ok not hay but nice heated water bed. I have no idea what I am going to do once the bed goes. Hopefully not for a long, long time. I am spoiled by it's heatedness. Ok I know that's not really a word....yet.I don't think they make them anymore. I will catch up I promise. I hope you like this one. Have a great night. Much peace and love, Cheri

Oh, this rocks! It captures the season, the whole sense of closures and the openings that follow! The colors are rich and they remind me of a stained glass window. I have a lot of catching up to do, and like you, I'll be hitting the hay early, it's been a taxing week, and it's not even half-way yet, but oh well! At least there's income involved...and great art like this. I love it!

This almost looks like something from the show Night Gallery, you can almost hear Rod Serlings's voice narrating "Tonight we're going to take a trip, a trip back into time, back to an age void of our modern electronics, no black and white televisions, no rotary dial telephones, but to a more simpler age, an age when men were men and sheep were nervous.........er ok, maybe not that far back. This is pretty cool, you took an incredibly ornate and romantic garden, and turned it into something nightmares are spawned from........(Dave shudders). Creepy cool!!!

Yup, definately can hear the opening bars of "the outer limits" jingle running through my head now. Nice postwork. And not to change the subject, but, can a person get seasick in a waterbed?

Lovely image Cheri does look the part for Halloween.. and for Rod Serlings voice to boom out lol. Maybe needed a person there and once a negative and would look like a ghostly spirit, just lovely work well done.

Well, that does look scary, and a place where even angels fear to tread. Nice use of the invert feature in Photoshop, and get better! Heatedness is a word I'll have to investigate. "Warmth" would have been an ample substitute in this case.
