I was born on 7 December 1987 (this is so you can calculate my age should you be bothered) I am a fully licensed and qualified graphic designer, hailing from the little tip of nothing, floating in the middle of nowhere (locally referred to as South Africa, or Home). I don't think of myself as the Alpha and Omega of all graphic art, unlike some people out there, I am just someone who is trying to make my mark on the graphics community of the world. Something I do not think of as "evil" or "cocky" etc... as with all things in life, bad things happen, good times get pushed aside to deal with the bad. Beautiful memories are discarded and forgotten. The bad ones instead sticking behind. Most unwantedly. This is my life. This gallery, this site, is me. I have chosen to instead cling on to the good memories for dear life. Taking photo's along the way. I have never been ashamed of who I am, a gay Christian, and nor will I ever be. I respect a stranger for what they believe in, and I expect the same from the stranger. So that is my deal. Take a look through my gallery if you so choose, leave a comment if you feel you want to, and most of all, remember to smile. It could always get worse. Catch ya on the flip side... :) Ray!

You sent me off on a research project! I thought it was probably iron, and it turns out it can ONLY be iron, because rust is iron oxide. (Steel rusts because it contains iron, but there isn't any naturally occurring steel - it's a manufactured product.) I also found out that your country is the world's 8th largest producer of iron in the world, which explains why you might have rocks in your back yard that contain iron. So. There you go! There's iron in those rocks, and it's rusting. Aside from that ... I love the texture and the dof, and the rust makes a wonderful counterpoint to the gray rocks. It really is pretty!

You and Tara are so clever! These rocks are called Pelindaba rock and it is reknowed for their iron contend... This is probably also why the area from which these rocks come is reknowed for their huge number of ground lightning strikes every year... Well seen and captured Ray!!! :)
