Description

As night falls on Oshkosh, the old victorian house on the corner takes on a life of it's own. Only on the nights of the full moon do the daemons show themsevles. Beware what goes bump in the night. If you see a house with a tower and a full moon look up. You may see them. I had so much fun with this one. This is our house tower. It was taken today during a brief clearing of the sky. The sun was shinning brightly. I turned it into night, adjusted the color, took the full moon shot I have and changed the color around it, took shots of one of our light up eyes on my Party Lite table cloth (I used to sell Party Lite Candles), then I placed them right into this one, and presto chango got this. I so much wanted to keep in the spirit of All Hallows' Eve. Hopefully the creative side will flourish. There was no fever involved I am feeling better. I still have that cold, but it's starting to subside. Thank you all for looking, and all the comments on my previous posts. It made me feel better and some laugh a bit (laughter is powerful medicine). Love and peace, Cheri

Ooooh, I really like what you did with this. It's so moody, and I love the little touches...the eyes...the moon...everything. This is gorgeous! It makes me wanna visit! Hmmm...not THERE is an idea! This rocks. I'm glad you're feeling better too...that's always a good thing.

well I'm sorry you had a cold (do you get the feeling of "where the hell have YOU been, friend!" from this???), but I love the image. Your architectural shots in chicago struck me, and I think you have a genuine feel for architectural language. And in addition to the angle & composition (love both), you did great stuff with the eyes and that moon. Terrific light too. Hope the weather up there wasn't as bad as it's been here: It's been dark & rainy FOREVER (I'm suing Chicago. When the sun came out—1 minute, last friday—I said, "oh, how nice of you to stop by—do you even remember my name???") Terrific halloween image & a really good photograph too. (Btw, I just got a camera, so look out! I'm finally joining the Ninja ranks. You guys in the mood for blurs??? I got 'm cheap, buy 'm by the dozen!) Hope it was a nice halloween!
