This is a very intensely emotional work, Ana. I feel the emotions so strongly, and I just want to wrap my arms around Beauty and hold her close to give her comfort. If I remember correctly, the Beast was ugly in appearance, but with a heart full of love. I think the key is "appearance", whether in physical features or the impression created by some action. The heart can see the true beauty of the Beast within. That is the where the focus needs to be, not on the exterior appearance or actions. You really capture my sense of compassion with this artwork, Ana.

this is soooo you, ana! i think there is no other type of media that i enjoy so much to see from you. to me, these drawings are speaking so wonderfully in an almost tangible way about our life! and i love these figures in their vague appearance, right between these 2 worlds, always on their way from the one to the other. really wonderful done, ana, excellent in so many ways :)))

Such a warm delicate feeling, closeness, a hug - all done with bold gestural strokes; a master work fer'shure. My totally fav fairy tale - deprived as a child [some say depraved, but that's another story] I wasn't read or had access to fair tales until my teens. This one just really rocked me, I've seen all the film versions [George C. Scott's one of the best] and gotta say this one just really fits the story. Bravo ANA. tim

Here I see the white beauty outlined by the black beast. If you study it you can see the beauty "inside" the beast. I think this proves beauty is within everyone and that if you look hard enough you can find it. :-)

Thank you very much you all, for your such wonderful words in my drawing:)) I only can say i feel very happy! And i have to apologyse by the "unfinished" story...but as tim says,there are many versions,as in life is... and yes,tim,"depraved" that´s another story:-)) for me, this is a story of two different worlds that co-exist,closed, at the end. Thank you very much again.
