Hello, Andrea:-))) =As you like shrooms so much, here are some for you!I found very curious the way they are spiked in the tree,but I have no idea about their name...perhaps you know them?!For me, they are just hugging the tree...i love them and i only can tell you that i found them, somewhere in "Serra da Estrela-Portugal",some years ago.= I hope you like it:)))) *Thank you you all, for your time here*

That is a nifty picture. I like the angle that you captured it. You can tell that the shrooms go all the way around the tree. Kudos.

This is a type of Oyster mushroom. These are okay to eat when they are smaller and tender. When older they are very tough. Great shot.

...questi funghi sono molto affascinanti ma, io non li mangerei. Compaiono sugli alberi quando questi (alberi) sono ammalati. Succede molto spesso,almeno qui da me, che dopo pochissimi anni muoiono. Come foto è veramente stupenda,Ana! AWESOME PHOTO.:)

I have no idea what these are, aside from "Shelf fungi." We have some pretty big ones here in Chicago--some the size of dinner plates, but I've never seen such fuzzy ones! Gorgeous capture. I love the presentation!

well, ana, we have lots of different mushrooms here in late autumn, but i havnt seen yours here around as well. but i know some like the browncap, it is a very delicious little mushroom :))) its a beautiful capture, shows so wonderfully the little hairy detail :))))
