Description

Please don't let this sweet pic of Meadow make you go AGH!!! She was in BIG trouble today, after Jasmines walk (she was an angel & kept clean, mind you I did avoid any mucky water) I took Meadow & Carla 'B'. Got to the gate of the park let Meadow off her lead, she opened the gate & instead of going left & into the cow field as normal (she doesn't bother them if they are in that field) she went right, into the dry ditch & into a completely different field, where I told her she carn't go into yet, as until the trees loose all their leaves, I carn't see what she is upto as its quite dense. Now I have a dilemma, do I wait for her or do I go back through the gate & walk round to the field? I shouted, whistled & yelled to no avail. I decided to take Carla & see if I could see her, no course I couldn't, better go back in case she has returned & worried we are not there, no course she isn't back. Then I heard her yipping, obviously put a pheasant up, called, whistled, nothing!!!!Decided to go back to the field, nothing. Getting really cross but worried too, someone may pick her up, had visions of me being out all night looking for her, it was only 1.45!!!! Then here she comes down the path, "Hi did you want me, just thought I would take a look in the forbidden field, no sweat" With relief & lightness in my voice (GRRRRR) I told her she was so bad & naughty, then I told her that was it the rest of the walk she was on the lead. I then let Carla 'B' go & told her we would go on the walk she wanted to do. Butter wouldn't melt in Meadows pic but she certtainly keeps me on my toes, she loves to hunt & once in that mode a herd of elephants could go past her & she would be oblivious to the fact!!!!!!

Meadow is such a sweet looking girl Barbara but it sounds like she really tested your patience this time. Hopefully in the future she will come when you call her because one day it might be important.

Well, she does look awfully sweet, but I've heard rumors to the contrary. lol. Beautiful image and funny narrative, though perhaps not so funny at the time.
