Description
First test render after rigging. The torsion bars move up and down and the tracks have corresponding morph allowing more realistic "posing" on an uneven ground.
I also made a couple of winter paints too, but in the process I accidentally trashed my layered workfile, so no more textures :( (well, there's 7 already...)
DS version is basically finished and the Poser version needs only material settings to be finished :)
Oh, and thank you very much for all of your comments!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the "B" model had all that extra turret bolt-on armor. I think you should have more "limp track" on the top. Photos I've seen show quite a bit. Otherwise, you have a very good-looking model here. I hope to view the finished product.

Thanks :) You are correct about the B model, but the "E" doesn't mean model, but stands for "s ekranami" = with applique armor. A, B, C etc. were German given models while Russians didn't use any model numbers for KV-1 until after the war when models by year were taken in use (KV-1E = KV-1B = m1940). What comes to the "limp track", I agree. It's just a kind of a compromise between realistic look and polycount when each track piece adds 555 polygons to the model.
